20s stay top of Development League

Our u20s won 2-1 away to St Mirren on Monday afternoon, in a game played at Renfrew Juniors’ New Western Park. First half goals from Ryan Tuierney (13 mins) and Steven Boyd (42 mins( had us ahead by half time, although the first half was notable for an unfortunate injury to Saints Dylan Pooler, who departed in an ambulance. Our best wishes to him.
Saints pulled a goal back four minutes after the break when Cammy Howieson netted, and that was how it remained.
A deserved victory in a testing and  hard fought encounter.
From our point of view Michael Devlin made his comeback having been out since 9th May when he got injured against Partick Thistle, Michael played the first 45 minutes. And danny redmond, who has had a few niggles this season, also made his comeback too, Both players emerged without any further knocks.
Accies: Martin, Reilly, McMann (c), Devlin (C Granger 45), Want, Hughes, Cunningham, Redmond (Simpson 61), Tierney, Boyd, Ryan (Kelly 74). Unused subs C Scullion, S Connelly, Marshall. Referee: Craig Napier. Att: 88

Next week we are at home to Motherwell, 6pm at NDP on Wednesday 9th December. The week after we are away to Dundee United on Wednesday 16th December.
