Hamilton Academical are delighted to announce the double permanent signing of midfielder Gregor Crookston and defender Kai Smutek, both until the summer of 2028. Subject to SFA approval.
Crookston, 19, who spent the latter half of last season at the club, is a former Scotland Under-17 international, who gained valuable experience with Hearts B and arrives eager to continue his development in senior football.
Smutek, 20, who also spent the second half of season with the club, also developed through the Hearts pathway. After gaining senior experience on loan and featuring regularly at B-team level, he joins Hamilton looking to build on a promising start to his career.
Both players have already sampled first-team football at Hamilton and now make the move to New Douglas Park permanently.
