u20s win against St Johnstone

Our development side won 2-0 away to St Johnstone on Monday night (28th November) in a match played at Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium.

Goals either side of half time from Danny Redmond (41 mins) and Eamonn Brophy (54 mins) gave us a win that was more comfortable than the scoreline suggests.

It was another very good team performance, with good displays from Jack Breslin, Ross Cunningham and sub Marc Kelly in particular but all players contributed well.

Craig Watson got more game time after his long spell out.

Accies: Jamieson, Breslin, McMann, Want (c), McGregor, Hughes, Cunningham, Ferguson (Watson 55), Brophy (Smith 69), Redmond, Tierney (Kelly 61). Unused subs Reilly, O’Halloran, Quitongo, Marshall.
Referee: Matthew MacDermid; Assistants: Daniel McFarlane & Michael MacDermid. Att: 60

Next week we host Dunfermline. This game will take place on Wednesday as the Pars have an SFA Youth Cup tie on Sunday. The game will be at The SuperSeal here at NDP on Wednesday 7th December, kick off 7pm
