The club can confirm the signing tonight, Sunday 25th September, of 25 year old goalkeeper Darren Jamieson.
Darren has been with Livingston since a youth and was released by the Almondvale club just before the transfer window closed. However he has been playing since then with Bo’ness Utd, to whom he had initially been on loan from Livingston.
Manager Martin Canning explained, “We currently have Gary Woods out injured and Alex Marshall has been missing for a few weeks as well, and picked up another knock on Friday v Raith in the Youth Cup, so that was why we moved to bring in, firstly, Robbie Thomson, and now Darren Jamieson to add to our goalie pool. It will provide healthy competition for Remi Matthews and greatly helps as we have two keepers out injured.”
Darren has been signed until the end of the season.
