Friendly – Accies 1 Swansea City 1

In this Sunday afternoon (31st July) friendly at SuperSeal Stadium, Accies u20s drew 1-1 with Swansea City u23s.

Botti Biabi headed the Welsh side into the lead in the 9th minute and although there were a few chances for both sides, it was our trialist defender who fired home from 18 yards following a Steven Boyd corner on the hour mark to level the scores.

It was a very good test for both sides (Swans had earlier defeated Morton 2-1, and Falkirk u20s 1-0) and the game was played in a good spirit. Jordan McGregor limped off injured early on, he will be assessed tomorrow, but this allowed Shaun Want to come on after injury for his first appearance of the season.

Accies – Woods, Reilly, Trialist, Breslin (Quitongo 53), McGregor (Want 22), Hughes (c), Cunningham, Ferguson, Tierney, S Boyd, Trialist (Smith 67
