We welcome our new physiotherapist and Head of Medical Department Megan Finlayson, who has joined us from Kilmarnock. Megan replaces Victoria McIntyre who left us on Saturday after three years, for a new position at AFC Bournemouth.
u20s physio Katie Singer remains with us. Our medical team is also greatly assisted by Doctors Graeme Hopper, Alan Fletcher and Anthony Gibson.
Megan has given us an update today on the various injuries that we have had recently and players out / returning.
Jesus Garcia Tena is out with ACL cruciate damage, his rehab is going well, and he is aiming for a return in the new year.
Craig Watson has also been long term, suffering ACL cruciate ligament damage when on loan at Arbroath last season. He is now back in light training.
Darren Lyon underwent a groin operation down south last week and his rehab is now underway.
Jordan McGregor has been out with an ankle injury, he is running well this week.
‘keeper Alex Marshall has also had an ankle injury, which he further aggravated, but his rehab is proceeding well.
Sean McKirdy is out with a knee ligament injury, and is running well this week.
Remi Matthews suffered a shoulder injury on Saturday against ICT. He has returned to Norwich City for treatment and we await further news on him.
Gary Woods, the third ‘keeper to be out is now back, and will play in the development league game tonight v Falkirk.
Gramoz Kurtaj has been out with a niggle, but he has resumed training this week.
Ben Reilly is out with a fractured metatarsal and hopes to be back by the new year.
Massimo Donati has had his nose re-aligned, and has returned to light training this week.
And finally, skipper Mikey Devlin has suffered a knee injury, but his rehab is going well this week.
