I Don’t See Any ‘free games’ In This Sport Or Life In General

BRIAN RICE looking forward to Rangers visiting on Sunday with the hopes of a few returns from injury.

The head coach spoke this morning exclusively to the clubs website with the hopes and vision of having some players return from injury.

When asked about the current list of players out at the moment, he said: “Three or four of them have trained quite well this week, I’m very hopeful at least one or two of them are available for selection.

Some of them haven’t played for a number of weeks so it may be asking too much to play too many of them at once but I’m hopeful one or two will feature.

When asked about the importance of the match, he said: “I see every game the same, It’s you against your opponent. You get three points for a victory and none for a defeat.

Everyone sees football differently, I don’t see any ‘free games’ in this sport or life in general. You’ve got to earn everything you can get and I’ve been telling the boys this everyday.

Talking about Mickel Miller’s recent form, Rice said: “Mickel’s performance at Kilmarnock excluding his goal was the best I’ve seen from him. He’s been unfortunate with injury’s and missing game time due to that, however, he seems to have found his feet again.

His overall workrate and performance against Kilmarnock is something I want to see every week. He’s got in his locker and we know he’s got a good finish in him, hopefully he continues on and keeps the confidence.
