Thank you to the fans that attended the fan engagement meeting. A number of issues were discussed in a frank and honest manner, and working together we can hopefully get everyone fully under the one banner.
A good starting point may be the requested pre and post-match opening of the McArthur & McCarthy suite. I will work out the logistics and detail and update on the plans shortly.
As of close of business Saturday, we are pleased to announce that there has been a significant uplift in the sale of season books for season 2017/18. Nine hundred and sixty two (962) have been sold to date. When we add our community support, players, staff, pay at the gate, academy players and local youth teams, we are very close to 2000 core and potential Accies supporters.
I would also like to take this opportunity to invite suggestions, by letter or email to email@example.com on anything any fan wishes to suggest will improve things. I am also quite happy to meet fans by appointment to listen to ideas for improvement or grievances that are not football related. This will ensure that communication will be improved and any potential issues can be quickly resolved.
We are working on some pre match and half time entertain for our younger fans and this will add to the family appeal of the Club. Additionally we are extending an invite to fans who may wish to see behind the scenes from a football, community and business perspective. There has been some positive feedback from those of you who have already been on the “tour” and the message is that you are proud of what your club is achieving and delivering to the community.
The community outreach team are helping change many lives for the better and we believe we are leading the way in the U.K. in delivering the objectives of a true community football club.
