Daniel O’Reilly and Ellis Brown could make their home debuts on Saturday afternoon, after both making their first appearances in the 3-0 away win at Queen of the South.
Scott Martin and Shaun Want miss out with hamstring injuries, whilst Ryan Fulton is close to returning from appendicitis.
Thistle have had a few weeks rest due to COVID call-offs, but this break has allowed them to patch up any injured players.
Darren Brownlie hasn’t played so far this season, whilst Steven Bell hasn’t been seen since the opening weeks of the season. New signing Robbie Crawford is in line for his debut, having signed on a six-month contract from Motherwell.
Jake Hastie has returned to Rangers following the completion of his loan spell, whilst Stephen Hendrie and Ciaran McKenna return to face their former club.
LAST TIME OUT
It’s only been a few weeks since we last played Thistle at Firhill, where the Jags recorded a narrow 1-0 victory.
On-loan Rangers defender Lewis Mayo scored the winner, nodding in from close range during the second-half.
Accies last home win against Thistle came in February 2018, courtesy of an Alejandro Rojano strike and a 93rd minute David Templeton winner.
Both sides come into this one in good form – albeit if Thistle have had a three week break – with three wins in the last five games for each.
Stuart Taylor’s side have picked up wins against Dunfermline, Inverness and Queen of the South, whilst Thistle have beaten Accies, Dunfermline, Raith Rovers.
Thistle have taken three points against Raith Rovers, Dunfermline and Hamilton Accies – however, they have only scored three goals in those games.
Speaking to the press through the week, Stuart Taylor said: “We have the opportunity to get two wins in a row. I think that is something which is the next part of our progression, as a group we want to put a winning run of games together and see where it takes us.”
