We are delighted to announce local community group DB12Run as new sponsors for our inclusive team ahead of their new season.
Named after Diabetes types one and two, the group use exercise for the common good. As a club, we are delighted to work with a fantastic group of people that shares our passion for the local community.
The inclusive team is currently working hard in preparation for the new campaign which is set to begin next month. The team will now sport the DB12Run logo on their kits for matches.
The group is no stranger to the club having taken the opportunity to sponsor numerous player’s jerseys over the previous seasons.
Founder Christopher Gray said: “This is one of the biggest and proudest moments of my life, but this is for DB12Run not for me. I want to say thanks to the club for allowing our community group the opportunity to not only allow us to proudly sponsor the inclusive team. I am also looking forward to sponsoring the Accies woman’s away shirt.
“I spent years watching Accies back in the days with my old man and have a lot of memories of those days, including the first game at New Douglas Park to see Sunderland XI. Now I have the opportunity to be involved in this capacity is fantastic.”
We look forward to working with the group again in the future.
