The club is delighted to announce we have reached an agreement with Stirling Albion for the transfer of attacker Andy Ryan who will now spend the next two seasons in South Lanarkshire.
Ryan, a product of the Accies academy, made over 90 appearances during his first spell with the club before moving to League Two side Forfar.
The 26-year-old was named in last season’s SPFL League Two Team of the Season scoring 10 goals in 17 appearances.
Ryan will join his new teammates who are currently preparing for a return to competitive action against Edinburgh City on the 9th of July.
Speaking exclusively to the club’s website he said: “I’m pleased to get the move done, coming back there is a few familiar faces from my first spell and I know the club and the expectations that come when playing for the club very well. Coming back everything just feels familiar.
“I loved every minute of my time with Stirling and would like to wish them well in the future.”
Brian Rice said: “We are thrilled to have Andy back with us. He is a player with a lot of lower league experience which can benefit us. I think to hit double figures in a stop-start campaign is a testament to the talent of the player and we look forward to seeing the quality he will add to the squad.”
