New contracts for first-team coaching staff

Hamilton Academical Football Club is thrilled to announce first-team coaches Brian Potter, Guillaume Beuzelin and Brian Rice have all committed their future to the club by signing new contracts.

Brian and Chairman Allan Maitland revealed the news at a press conference just moments ago.

Former Accies player Potter joined the club as Goalkeeping Coach in 2015 and has remained in the role since. Beuzelin also joined the coaching staff in 2015 following a previous spell with Dumbarton.

Appointed our Head Coach in 2019, Rice, along with the club’s other coaches, have played an instrumental part in the development of the club’s younger players. They have also been hugely significant in maintaining the club’s Premiership status in recent seasons.

Speaking to the club’s website Chairman Allan Maitland said: “We are delighted to have these three guys signed up to new contracts with the club. The quality which they have as coaches is there for all to see.

“We have watched, first hand, the devotion and dedication they have for maximising the potential of all the club’s players. The guys understand what it means to represent our club and are able to put that message across to the players. Now the contracts have been signed we look forward to ending the season strongly.”

Our Premiership campaign continues next Wednesday as we aim to make it four unbeaten against local rivals Motherwell.
