Attacker David Moyo insists his recent international experience has made him even hungrier to kick on for Accies.
The 25-year-old said: “This has sparked the fire even more for me. I want to kick on now, the aim is always to score more goals and be a bigger player for Accies.
“Getting the win comes first and foremost and I want to do all I can to help us do that. Scoring more goals gives us a fighting chance.”
Moyo featured in both of his nations African Cup of Nations qualification matches against Algeria and believes the experience has taught him so much:
“The experience was unbelievable, I loved every minute of it, that feeling of representing your people on home soil will stay with me forever. It’s dreams come true.
“I took a lot from it. I looked at how different players conduct themselves and approach the game. I am always learning and trying to better myself. This has helped me a lot and has changed a few things for me”
Moyo returned from international duty this week and has praised the morale in the dressing room as the side prepared for a return to Premiership action.
The attacker said: “Since I’ve been back the dressing room has been bubbly and the morale has been high. All the boys are on it and determined. We are all on the same page.
“We all want to get a result this weekend and kick start our season. We need the results to get up that league, we have the players to do it.
