HAMILTON Academical Football Club is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership that will see eco-friendly packaging firm Cullen featured on the front of our brand new kits for the next two seasons. The deal is worth a six figure sum to the club which will benefit our football department, community programmes & youth academy.
This exciting move lets the market-leading Glasgow-based company take a massive stride forward in spreading their eco-friendly message. Having produced over 1 billion sustainable products to replace single-use plastic in 33 countries across the globe, Cullen sees this sponsorship agreement with Hamilton as an opportunity to spread the ‘go paper based’ message within their homeland.
Specialising in moulded pulp and corrugate packaging solutions to replace single-use plastic, Cullen plan to support ‘The Accies’ on the pitch and with our eco-friendly journey. With many sustainability initiatives in the pipeline, both parties are extremely enthusiastic about introducing change.
The club will enter our seventh consecutive season in the Scottish Premiership when we kick off against Celtic on 2 August at Celtic Park. Chief Executive, Colin McGowan said: “I’m absolutely delighted with this new and exciting partnership with Cullen. They very much run with the same social values as ourselves with giving back to the community and trying their best to make a difference which is what we’re all about.”
Both parties are looking forward to many wins in the season ahead; be it on the pitch or against single-use plastic. The beautifully designed kits manufactured by Adidas & supplied by Football1st are available to pre-order now.
