Hamilton Academical Football Club are delighted to announce that Neil Stafford has signed a contract extension that will see him remain at the club until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Coming through the Accies Academy, the 18-year-old goalkeeper is yet to make his Accies debut however did spend the first half of the season on loan to Forfar where he made 16 appearances across all competitions.
On signing his new deal, Neil said: “I’m really happy to be extending my stay at Accies. I’ve been here since I was 15 so to get the chance to be in the first team squad has been great.
“Now I just need to keep working hard and hopefully take my chance when it comes.”
Darian MacKinnon said: “It’s great to have Neil sign a new deal. He’s a talented young keeper that trains well and works hard. He didn’t get his chance in the first team this season, but we’re really happy with his time at Forfar and how he’s been developing.”
