Hamilton Academical have today signed dynamic midfielder Dylan Tait from Hibernian FC on a season long loan deal.
The 21-year-old, who started his career with Raith Rovers, having first signed a senior contract in 2019, is thrilled to have joined Accies and told us: “I am delighted to join Hamilton for the next season, I’m looking forward to getting started and getting into the games.
“Hamilton are known for playing young players and developing and making them better, so as soon I spoke to the manager about what the club’s ambitions were for the season it appealed to me straight away. I wanted to come and play my football here and work under the manager and his staff as I know they will make me a better player over the year – I know a lot of the boys here aswell which also helps.
“After everything was agreed it was really easy dealing with Gerry to get it all sorted and signed and anything I needed Gerry was there to help.
“Let’s make this season one to remember!”
Gerry Strain of HAFC added: “John Rankin alerted me to the availability of Dylan late last week and it’s a crucial area of our squad that we need to add both quality and more numbers to.
“Dylan fits the profile and has the attributes of the type of player that John wants to have at our Club perfectly.
“Brian McDermott (Director of Football) at Hibs really went out of his way to help us make this deal possible in such a short timescale and I’m really grateful for his help and support in getting this done so quickly.
“We’re looking forward to seeing Dylan in action and also playing a huge part for the Club in the coming season.”
