About Us: Hamilton Accies Academy is committed to fostering a supportive and competitive environment where young players can develop their skills, both on and off the pitch. With a focus on technical ability, teamwork, and personal growth, we aim to cultivate a love for the game that lasts a lifetime.
Who We’re Looking For: We are looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and experienced coaches who are excited to work with young players. Ideal candidates will have:
- UEFA Elite A Licence, or A Licence (Essential
- Advanced Children’s Licence (Essential)
- Good Communication Skills
- Experience in Coaching and Managing Young Footballers (Desirable)
Key Responsibilities:
- To deliver a minimum of 3 high level coaching sessions – per week – to the age group under your control.
- To attend all your age groups matches.
- To attend parents and players meetings 3 times per season.
- Liaise and provide feedback on individual and team performance to the Head of Children’s Academy on a weekly basis.
- Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions tailored to the needs of different age groups
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages players to thrive
- Monitor and assess player development, providing constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with other coaching staff and Academy personnel
- Ensure adherence to club values and policies, particularly regarding player welfare and safeguarding
