The club are delighted to announce that striker Andrew Winter has agreed a two-year contract extension with the club.
The Accies Academy graduate, who recently returned from a long-term injury layoff, signed the extension earlier today and spoke of his delight at securing his future in Lanarkshire.
He told the club’s website: “When I heard about the opportunity to extend my contract I was looking to get it done as soon as possible. It has been a tough few years and I am thankful that the club have stuck by me.”
Head Coach Stuart Taylor said: “We are glad to have Andy’s future secured here at the club. When I came in he was still recovering from an injury but his attitude and willingness to learn have really impressed me.
“As the club looks to continue developing young players I believe Andy is a fine example of what all footballers should aspire to be. Every day he gives his all and is always striving to develop like all of the lads here and I believe he can play a huge part in the future of our football club.”
Andy will be in the squad for tomorrow’s match against Dunfermline.
