We are happy to confirm the season-long loan signing of goalkeeper Joe Hilton from Blackburn Rovers.
The shot-stopper who’s had a brief spell in Scotland already last season with Ross County is preparing to get between the sticks at New Douglas Park.
Speaking to the club’s website, Joe said: “I’m delighted, it’s a great opportunity for myself coming back to Scotland and I’m just really looking forward to getting started.
“At Ross County, it was a real good experience for me working in and around the first-team environment and every single game means so much to the team.”
Having recently just extended his contract with the English Championship side, Hilton’s looking to continue his development.
“Signing that new deal at Blackburn was a big step for me and now I’m here at Hamilton it’s about pushing on and continuing what I’ve been doing already.
“I’m here to try and get into the squad, win games, keep the momentum going and hopefully finish on a high at the end of the season.”
Hilton has been training with the squad over the past few weeks.
