We would like to place on record our thanks and best wishes to the club’s Head of Children’s Football Matt Boyle who leaves Accies after ten years working in our academy.
During this time Boyle has been instrumental in the day-to-day running of our academy. He also
played a significant role in working with our players during the national lockdown last year.
Academy Director George Cairns: “Matt has been a fantastic asset to our club over the last ten years.
As a coach he helped convey the ethos of our club to the academy players which is pivotal to the
success of our academy.
“In these current times he, along with the rest of our staff, have adapted to different rules and
protocols to ensure our players can continue to develop in the safest way possible.
“Matt has chosen to take a step back and focus on life with his family and although we are extremely
disappointed to be losing him, we wish him and his family all the best in the future.”
