Hamilton Academical FC is pleased with the decision taken by Scottish FA Judicial Panel to overturn the red card issued to defender Jamie Hamilton during our Premiership match against Hibernian.
We would like to thank the panel for their swift and appropriate decision and can now confirm the initial decision has been upheld in part with the red card rescinded and replaced with a caution for a reckless / careless challenge. We now consider the matter to be dealt with as we look ahead to our upcoming matches.
Jamie is available for selection for our next match against St Johnstone.
We will be making no further comment on the matter.
