Hamilton Academical Football Club can confirm the signing of 21-year-old midfielder Mikey Stone on an amateur contract for the 2025/26 season.
The Manchester-born midfielder left Huddersfield Town at the end of last season and has been part of our pre-season since we returned in the summer.
On the signing, John Rankin said: “Mikey has been working hard in pre-season alongside the first team and has impressed in that time.”
“He adds plenty of energy to the midfield and offers something different to what we already have.”
Speaking on joining the club, Mikey Stone said: “Pre-season has been difficult but we’ve all been working hard and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
“I’ve really enjoyed working with the gaffer and the boys in the run up to the league starting and I’m excited to get going.”
