Hamilton Academical Football Club can confirm the signing of 19-year-old winger Bobby McLuckie on a season long loan from Scottish Premiership side Heart Of Midlothian Football Club.
The Scottish-attacker who has came through the Hearts Academy has over 80 appearances for Hearts B, scoring 24 goals and registering 33 assists.
Spending the first half of last season with Hearts B, Bobby scored 5 goals and registered 5 assists in 22 games before joining Stenhousemuir for the second half of the season where he made 11 appearances including 2 in the Championship Play-Offs.
On the signing, John Rankin said: “Bobby has been very impressive for Hearts B in the lowland league and spent some time with Stenhousemuir last year, so he’s looking to make that next step.
“He’s an energetic player, likes to get forward and cause problems and offers us another option up front so I’m delighted to get the deal done.”
Speaking on joining the club, Bobby McLuckie said: “I’m really looking forward to getting involved with the squad. My chat with the manager was positive, we spoke about what he expects from me and how I can fit into how he wants to play.”
