Hamilton Academical Football Club is proud to confirm that, subject to SPFL approval of the application to register New Douglas Park (Hamilton Community Stadium) as our home ground, we will be returning home from the start of the 2026/27 season.
Signing a minimum 2-year License To Occupy, with an option to extend, this marks a significant step in the clubs ambition to continue to grow on and off the park.
The club is keen to reignite it’s presence in the local community and we look forward to welcoming schools, local groups, and supporters of all ages back through its gates.
For our supporters, this return is about coming home. We know how much this ground means to you, and we are committed to making it a place where memories are made for years to come. For our players and staff, it provides a platform to perform in front of our own supporters and to represent the badge in a setting that truly reflects the spirit of the club.
There is still work to be done in the months ahead, and we will continue to keep supporters updated as preparations progress.
