Hamilton Academical Football Club is proud to confirm that Elite Academy graduate Kerr Reynolds has successfully passed his medical with Hull City today, marking the next exciting chapter in his career as a professional footballer. As part of the deal, the club has negotiated a transfer fee as well as significant add-ons for the player.
The 16-year-old goalkeeper has represented Scotland at both U-15 and U-16 level, including making the match-winning save in a penalty shootout triumph over Republic of Ireland in October last year.
This significant step would not have been possible without the support of Club Owner, Seref Zengin, whose continued commitment to player progression and strong club relationships has been instrumental in facilitating this deal with Hull City FC where he has fostered strong relationships with their owners.
Sporting Director, Gerry Strain, expressed his pride in Kerr’s progression:
“We’re absolutely delighted to see Kerr take this next step. It’s always a proud moment for the club when one of our own earns the opportunity to progress to a higher level. This is a testament not only to Kerr’s dedication to his career and his parents dedication to their sons development, but also to the fantastic work of our Academy coaches, who continue to develop players of real quality. We wish Kerr every success at Hull City FC and will be watching his journey with pride.”
Hamilton Academical Football Club remains committed to developing top Scottish talent through our Academy system and we take great pride in seeing our players thrive on and off the pitch.
