Hamilton Academical Football Club is delighted to confirm that Darian MacKinnon has been named the Glen’s League 1 Manager of the Month for April.
With three wins in our last 4 games, back-to-back clean sheets and our first 3 wins on the bounce since September we have given ourselves a chance of automatic safety in League One next season.
Speaking on the award, Darian said: “It’s great to get this recognition and I am thankful for it, but it’s really a team effort from both the players and staff.
“I’d like to thank the staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes, the players for putting in the work on the pitch and the board and new owners who have backed me and my team.
“We’ve all had to dig in and work hard this season and after a rough patch, the players have all stood up in the last few weeks and have gave us a chance of safety which is now our aim.”
