Hamilton Academical Football Club can confirm that Charlie Albinson has exercised the relegation release clause in his contract and has left the club with immediate effect.
Charlie Albinson joined Accies following his departure from Ayr United in the summer, becoming our first signing of the season, and went on to make 21 appearances across all competitions, keeping 5 clean sheets.
Speaking on his departure, Charlie said “I really enjoyed my time at the club and I’m proud of the work that we as players and the staff put in. It was difficult the way the season ended, but we all stayed together as a group and I want to wish all the players and staff the best going forward.
“Thank you also to the fans for their continued support in what was a difficult season for everyone.”
