Hamilton Academical Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Charlie Albinson, following the expiry of his contract with Ayr United.
The 27-year-old keeper is our first signing of the summer and will join the squad for pre-season training in the coming weeks.
Coming through the Manchester City academy, Charlie had spells at Blackburn, Southport & Warrington before joining Ayr United permanently in the summer of the 21/22 season.
Speaking on his first signing, manager John Rankin said: “It’s great to get Charlie into the squad. He’s a quality keeper with experience in the league.
“I spoke to Charlie about what we’re trying to do here, and the team we’re looking to build and he was on board straight away which is exactly what we’re looking for in the team.”
