To all the Hamilton Accies fans,
I would like to begin by congratulating Rebecca Nuttall on her appointment as the clubs Chief Executive Officer on a permanent basis, alongside her role at Haverfordwest County A.F.C. Since the clubs takeover in back in January, Rebecca has worked tirelessly to get the club on a stable footing and impliment new operational procedures in an effort to make the club more sustainable and organised.
Her appointment is another positive step in the right direction for Hamilton Accies.
Secondly, I would like to thank everyone for the overwhelmingly positive response to the news that, subject to SPFL approval, we will be returning to New Douglas Park from the start of next season.
As I mentioned when attending the Accies Supporters Association meeting recently, getting back to Hamilton has been a priority for the club, and I am both delighted and relieved that we have now been able to bring it to a successful conclusion.
While we are not in a position to share the full details, I can confirm that the agreement provides the club with full-time access to train and play at the stadium, in addition to enabling our staff to be based on-site. We firmly believe that re-establishing ourselves fully within our permanent home, at the heart of our community, is essential for the club’s long-term growth both on and off the pitch.
This week we have also announced an exciting new partnership with Tor Sports who will manufacture the clubs kits and merchandise until the end of the 2028/29 season. It’s been very encouraging seeing how well these have went down so far this season, so we’re hopefully that this will be a fruitful endeavour for both parties.
There will be further updates in due course, and we look forward to sharing more positive developments in the weeks and months ahead. In the meantime, I would ask that you continue to support Darian, his coaching team, and the players as we work through what remains a challenging period this season.
