Academy Director, Gordon Young welcomed in parents & family members to New Douglas Park last month to discuss changes within the Academy infrastructure.
This included an overview of the Academy structure, principles that are non-negotiable for both players & coaches as well as the introduction of an Official Accies Academy App designed to improve the education & communication between coaches & family members.
The parents evening was one of multiple events that the Academy has planned, including a talk held yesterday regarding drug & alcohol awareness. There are further talks planned that cover topics such as social media, mental health & nutrition.
Gordon will be sitting down with us next week to update all fans on the work that is going on within the Academy.
