Hamilton Academical are delighted to announce the signing of striker Andy Ryan, who returns to the club for a third spell, until the summer of 2028. Subject to SFA approval.
A product of the Accies academy, Ryan first broke into the senior side in 2011 and went on to make 93 appearances and score nine goals during his initial spell at New Douglas Park. He returned in 2021 and added a further 45 appearances and 13 goals before moving to Larne in January 2023.
During his time in Northern Ireland, Ryan established himself as one of the Irish Premiership’s most prolific forwards. He scored 70 goals in 121 appearances for Larne, helping the club win three league titles and play a key role in their historic UEFA Conference League qualification campaign.
Across a career that has also included spells with Arbroath, Dunfermline Athletic, Stirling Albion, Airdrieonians, Forfar Athletic and Brechin City, Ryan has scored over 160 goals in more than 400 senior appearances.
Now 31, the experienced frontman returns to Hamilton with a proven goalscoring pedigree and a deep connection to the club.
