We are delighted to announce that Owain Fôn Williams has signed for ACCIES.
The Welshman is our latest signing following his contract coming to an end at Inverness CT.
Owain has a vast amount of experience between the sticks having played for Stockport County, Tranmere Rovers, Inverness Caledonian Thistle & the Welsh national team.
Speaking to AcciesTV, Fôn Williams said: “To be back playing in the Premiership here at Hamilton, it gives me the opportunity to be in the shop window for Wales.
“I’m a very proud Welshman and to play for your country, is a dream for anyone. To put the colours of your country on your back is all you want to do as a football player.
The shot-stopper will be no stranger to Brian Rice & George Oakley having worked with both during his time in the highlands.
Head coach, Brian Rice said: “I’m happy to have Owain at the club, he’s a fantastic player and will work well under goalkeeping coach Brian Potter. I am delighted to bring in an experienced proven goalkeeper.
