Vacancy – Disability Access Officer

Due to end of season departures, the club seeks a new Disability Access Officer.

The DAO will advise and drive the club on access and inclusion matters, and act as a point of contact for disabled spectator enquiries, in advance of games and on matchdays as needed.

The DAO should also be able to do, or organise and update as needed, an access report for the stadium

The DAO is also expected to liaise with other DAOs within Scotland and attend any meetings with others as needed

The DAO should ideally be in or around the ticket office on a home matchday; stay up to date with existing legislation  including the Equality Act; have a good understanding of the accessible facilities and services within the stadium and seek to resolve any challenging areas that affect some disabled people or otherwise fans with impairment or having access needs.

Previous experience and any knowledge of the Green Guide to sports grounds safety is desirable, as is knowledge of the UEFA and CAFE good access guide.
